In addition to studying, testing, and periodically implementing new working methods, optimizing, and securing the web hosting services we offer, we are also looking for ways to improve the relationship with our customers and ease the work they need to do in their relationship with us.
Therefore, in the last month, we have implemented several new features in the billing system.

 

SMS


At the request of several clients, we have implemented SMS notifications. Activating this option is optional and can be done both from the client account and during the creation of the client account. SMS notifications will be sent upon: the generation of the pro forma invoice by the system and not as a result of placing an order, as well as the potential suspension of the hosting account regardless of the reason for suspension (non-payment, abuse, etc.).
SMS messages will appear as being sent from "Hostico", please do not reply to these SMS messages as they will go nowhere since this is a one-way communication channel.
Activating/deactivating SMS notifications can be done from the Hostico client account in the "My Details" section by checking/unchecking the box next to the SMS option.


Email Authentication

To simplify authentication into the account, viewing, paying, and downloading the invoice for which notification or payment confirmation is received, we have implemented authentication directly from the received email. By clicking on the proforma/fiscal invoice number, you will be automatically logged into your Hostico customer account, and the corresponding invoice will be displayed.
Customers who have activated 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) will not be able to log in this way, and they will be presented with the client account login interface.
The links related to the invoices are valid for a duration of 7 days from the receipt of the notification or payment confirmation. After that, authentication will need to be done by entering the relevant customer account details (username and password).


Proforma Modification

Clients who wish can now edit the proforma invoices issued for the services they have active. In case billing for a service is desired on different details, for example switching from the details of an individual to the details of a legal entity or vice versa.
Editing is available only for proforma invoices, fiscal invoices can no longer be edited.
The option is available in the client account in the "Financial" section by clicking on the invoice that needs modification.example invoices
