The new client account elements developed by the Hostico team

The year 2022 was a productive one for Hostico, as we focused our efforts on the significant development of the client account to provide the most efficient user experience possible. In addition to the client account, we launched a new KVM VPS hosting service in October, which was more successful than our initial expectations.

We want to thank you for your continued support and for choosing to stand by us for another year. We aim to be a trusted partner and help you achieve your goals by providing solutions tailored to your specific needs.
In the following, we invite you to go through the new updates implemented within Hostico:

Separation of services

There will be situations in which multiple services are inserted on a single proforma invoice due to the identical due date or the fact that they were purchased simultaneously in the past. Until now, separating the items was only possible through a request submitted to the Hostico support team, but now this process is also available in the client interface.

The procedure is useful when a single invoice includes multiple products or services that need to be paid by different companies or individuals, and there is a desire to break them down. When an invoice is split, the billing data of the generated proformas will be automatically set to those corresponding to the client account, with amounts having the same values as in the original invoice.

Bulk Renew

Domain management has become easier than ever with the new bulk renewal feature. All domains in the account can be renewed with the simple press of a button, and for situations where we need to choose which domains to renew simultaneously, we have made selective bulk renewal available.

When domains are renewed in bulk, a single proforma invoice will be issued on behalf of the client, which will include each domain charged with the amount corresponding to the extension for the established billing period.
If a domain uses the default billing information of a sub-account, the issuance of the domain renewal invoice will be automatically done on that sub-account, while the other domains that use different information will have proforma invoices generated separately.

Domain Updates

We inform you that the following domain rates have been modified:

*The rates in the table do not include the applicable VAT of 19%

The changes come in response to the price adjustments made by the domain provider we collaborate with, these being applied to all possible procedures within a domain name (registration/renewal/transfer).

Affiliate Changes

The affiliate system has represented, from the very beginning, a method through which customers can generate income by promoting Hostico's services through their own websites or through other marketing channels.
Due to the accelerated growth in the number of participants as well as the amount withdrawn per user, we have decided to increase the unique nominal withdrawal value from 500 EURO/service contract to 1000 EURO.
This change will lead to a smoother withdrawal process by reducing the number of requests made in a year.
