DNS settings in the Webuzo panel
Learn how to edit and set DNS records in the Webuzo panel. Follow the steps to efficiently manage domains and subdomains.
Introduction
- In this tutorial, we will show how to edit/set DNS records in the Webuzo admin panel.
Requirements
- a Webuzo account
Steps
- After logging into the Webuzo administration panel, we will go to the Domain section and click on DNS Zone Settings.
- After accessing "DNS Zone Settings", the window below will open and we will be able to Edit or add DNS records for the added domains or subdomains in Webuzo by completing the form on the page.
We will complete each field carefully in the following order:
- In Select Domain we will have the option to select the desired domain or subdomain to be used.
- At Name we add the registration name we want to add to the selected domain
- TTL (Time to Live) is the lifespan of the DNS cache for that record. Values are specified in seconds and the default value is 14400.
- In the Type we select the type of DNS registration we want to add. Here the options are limited, and the Webuzo panel only allows records of type A, CNAME and TXT.
- The last field varies depending on the type of registration selected earlier: Example: ( A - We will enter the destination IP, CNAME - We will enter the destination Domain and TXT - We will enter the txt code )
To edit or delete a DNS record from the Webuzo panel, we will use the icons on the right (the pencil and X),
- The Pencil icon will be used to edit the added DNS record.
- The X icon will be used to completely delete the added DNS record.
