Learn about domain statuses: from INACTIVE to PENDING-TRANSFER, each state has different implications for managing and using your domain.

The domain during its existence can have one of these statuses:


INACTIVE - The domain is not functional because the nameservers from the desired hosting have not been set.
PENDING-CREATE - The domain is in the process of registration, and activation is awaited.
PENDING-RENEW - The domain is in the process of renewal, and once completed, it will have a new expiration date.
PENDING-VERIFICATION - The identity of the email box is being verified for validation according to ICANN directives
PENDING-TRANSFER -
The domain cannot be modified or deleted, but it is functional., as it is in the process of being transferred to another registrar.
PENDING-UPDATE - The contact information for the domain has been updated, and approval from the registrar is awaited.
CLIENT_HOLD
- This status prevents unauthorized deletion of the domain.
CLIENT_RENEW_PROHIBITED - Renewal of the domain is not possible; this status occurs when the domain is under the PendingDelete stage.
CLIENT_TRANSFER_PROHIBITED - The domain is functional, the domain can be renewed, but it cannot be transferred due to active WHOIS protection
CLIENT_UPDATE_PROHIBITED - Updating the domain information is not possible.
CLIENT_DELETE_PROHIBITED - This status indicates that deletion of the domain is not possible, preventing unauthorized deletion of the domain.
SERVER_HOLD - The status is set by the domain registrar, because the domain is not active in the DNS zone.
SERVER_RENEW_PROHIBITED - The domain cannot be renewed; the status is set by the domain registrar, and occurs when the domain is under the PendingDelete stage.
SERVER_TRANSFER_PROHIBITED - The domain cannot be transferred; this status occurs as a result of a dispute or when the domain is under the RedemptionPeriod stage.
SERVER_UPDATE_PROHIBITED - The domain cannot be updated; this status occurs as a result of a dispute or when the domain is under the RedemptionPeriod stage.
SERVER_DELETE_PROHIBITED
- The domain cannot be modified or deleted. This is a more unusual status, occurring as a result of a dispute or during the process of RedemptionPeriod.
